SERVING TO PROVIDE RELIEF
The Shepherd’s Way Relief Center exists to meet human need wherever, whenever, and however we can. Our mission is to eliminate hunger in the Richmond VA area by providing persons in need with food, promote, basic necessities and to instill hope.
PROVIDING FOR THE IMPOVERISHED
Shepherd’s Way Relief Center is providing for our community’s impoverished in a number of ways.
This is a hot meal we serve each week in our dining room, which seats about 100. Our meals are prepared and served by a wonderful group of volunteers who dedicate their time and resources in order to be a blessing to others.
Please consider a donation to help support and expand this much needed service. For many of our neighbors, this is their only meal of the day.
Emergency Food Pantry
We maintain a modest supply of canned and dry goods that we give out to our neighbors in need. Many of the people we help do not have the ability to cook, so our pantry consists of ready-to-eat non-perishable foods.
We provide clothes and shoes as we receive them from donors. These items are given away for free and nothing is sold. Your donations of gently worn coats, clothes, and shoes are greatly needed and appreciated.
We also recognize how hard it is for many of those living on the streets to have the necessary hygienic components to maintain a sense of dignity. To that end, we provide toiletry items such as soap, toothpaste, deodorant, toilet paper, etc.
